Students may purchase eBooks only, or eBook and Hardcopy Books.
Educate will provide the app installation for upload of the eBooks to the student iPads. This facility IS NOT provided by Wriggle the iPad provider.
eBooks come as a standard addition when hardcopy books are purchased.

Griffeen Community College and Educate have arranged this link for the purchase of your child’s text books.
[Please note: Educate do not supply text books for the option subjects, Art or Digital Media Literacy (DML)/Coding Subject.
Please select the Core Subject Package of your choice. Core subjects are the every student must complete, i.e., non-option subjects.
Parents can select the hardcopy textbook option as a personal choice, however some may prefer digital eBooks only.
Hardcopy text books can be kept at home as students will have access to their eBooks on their iPads when in school.
Students are not required to bring hardcopy books to school.
You can choose to purchase either:
1. Package One: Textbook and workbook (hardcopy copy of both) as well as the eBook.
OR
2. Package Two: eBook and workbook package. This option is digital only and does not include the hardcopy copy of the Textbooks.
Option Subjects
Students that have selected Business, Home Ec, Woodwork as ‘Option Subjects’, need to purchase these books as well as one of the above packages. As for all other subjects, it is possible to choose either the textbook, workbook and eBook package OR the eBook, workbook package with no textbook.
Please note: Educate do not supply text books for the Art or Digital Media Literacy (DML)/Coding Subject Option choices.
First Year Books 2023-24
Package Three and Package Four are only purchased for students who have an Irish Exemption sanctioned by the Department of Education and Science (DES).
