Transition Year Trips Permission form These forms need to be completed each week for the Transition year outings. Students will not be permitted to take part and will need to remain at home if permission has not been given by a Parent or Guardian.

Junior Cycle Results Letter

The letter at this link was distributed with the student Junior Cycle Provisional results on Wednesday 23/11/22. The results letter was given to all students by hand in school at an assembly.

There will be a Celebration of Achievement once the Official JCPA has been released by the Department of Education.

Junior Cycle APPLICATIONS FOR REVIEW OF RESULTS (APPEALS)

The following conditions apply to applications for a review of Junior Cycle results:

(i) The SEC does not accept appeal applications directly from candidates, parents or individual teachers.

(ii) Applications will be accepted only from the School Authority. The Principal (or authorised representative), must consider that the examination result attained by the candidate is significantly at variance with the school’s considered judgement of the performance of the candidate concerned at the examination in question. Completed, scanned, and submitted to the SEC by the deadline by email.

A valid appeal will require the signature of the Principal certifying that the appeal is warranted as set out at (ii) above.

The application form should state the examination number and name of each candidate for whom an appeal is considered warranted, and the subject and level being appealed. All applications for appeal should be with the school no later than Monday 28^th of November 9am, which will allow then be forwarded to the SEC by their cut off time which is no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday 30th November, 2022.

Using the link below, book your slot for the Transition Year Parent Teacher meeting.

Booking your Parent Teacher Meeting

You must complete the form at this link before 12 noon on Tuesday 8^th November.

A printout of times for parent meetings will be provided to students on Tuesday 14^th November.

Parents will have the facility to log in again on Tuesday 14^th November to see time slots for Thursday's Parent Teacher Meeting. These times will be between 3pm and 5pm on Thursday 17^th November 2022.

Due to logistics, parents will not be able to see all teachers.

Parents who do not use the PTMO system to book will not be allocated to an appointment time on Thursday.
